Your data stays in Australia. Privacy is a design principle.
Teacharo is built for Australian schools and Australian privacy law. This page covers how data is stored, how AI processing works, and how we handle the approval process.
At a glance
Where your data lives and how it's processed
Human in the loop
Teachers review everything before it sends
Teacharo generates drafts for teacher review and approval. It does not send emails, submit reports, or take actions on behalf of teachers. Every output requires teacher review before use. This matters because AI can make mistakes. By keeping teachers in control, errors are caught before they reach parents, students, or administrators. The professional judgement that took years to develop stays where it belongs — with the teacher.
For ICT and business managers
Built for the approval process
We've designed Teacharo for the way Australian school ICT approvals actually work.
ST4S in progress
We're working toward Safer Technologies 4 Schools certification. Documentation is available on request to support internal approval.
Australian Privacy Principles
Teacharo is designed to meet the APPs. Our privacy policy covers collection, use, disclosure, and retention explicitly.
Microsoft-friendly
We integrate with Microsoft folders you approve and control. Teacharo does not bypass your existing permissions or roles.
Data deletion on request
Individual teachers can delete their data at any time. Schools can request full data export or deletion at the end of a pilot.
No training on your data
Your data is never used to train AI models. This is contractually guaranteed and technically enforced via AWS Bedrock zero-retention.
Founder-led support
During the pilot, you work directly with the CTO and the CEO. If something isn't right, you talk to the person who built it.
